About Me
I’m an artist, Mom, Jeep enthusiast and gamer rolled into one. I have a weird sense of humor that plays out in the digital art moreso than the traditional art. I don’t know that I have a particular style, nor am I soley portrait, landscape etc. My moods, interests or events of daily life drive what I create.
I’m a self taught artist and learn something new with every piece of work. I started drawing in graphite in 2006 and fell in love with traditional. Slowly leaving behind the world of digital art. 2008 I left digital completely and in 2009 put serious time into drawing, learning, reading. I began trying my hand at painting the summer of 2009 (2 months ago as of this writing).
A mentor of mine Roberto Melo, an illustrator from Brazil who despite our language barriers helped me greatly critiques and reference material to study. While I went traditional art from digital he helped me, and he went digital from traditional it was an honor to be able help in return. Special thanks to Roberto and others like them for sharing the art. Big hugs and love to my biggest fans and supporters my fiance’ and children, from the wtf is that to the wow’s I want that
, they are my biggest inspiration.
My favorite mediums are graphite drawing, watercolor and I’m currently experimenting with traditional Oils. I’ve tried acrylic several times but in my busy household it just dries to fast and an interruption can ruin a brush. I do however like using acrylics on wood but not on paper or canvas.
Art like life is a journey, I got late start on mine. Sometimes it’s extraordinary, other times it’s exasperating especially when the ”studio cat” decides your desk is the best place to leave her wet little paw prints.
The biggest lesson of all I learned. Do what makes you happy, follow your heart and live your dreams, not everyone else’s. Life is much happier.
Enjoy and thank you for visiting!
The Artist, my daughter the next artist in the family and the studio dog ![]()

The Studio
Studio Cat – Her name is Meowse (pronounced Mouse), because her 1st trophy catch was a mouse she’d caught outside and decided to bring in and drop at my feet and so yeah…
Studio Dog – Her name is Madison and she’s adopted
. Her first couple years of life were spent as a lab research animal before she was rescued and adopted by another family who after a few years had to adopt her out because no time to spend with her. We just love her to pieces, she loves to go walking, sleep, dance for her treats and be the center of attention.
