Sketchbook Day 8 – New cell phones

Yesterday was an exciting day.  We got our daughter her first cell phone, she was so excited.  Mom got one too.  Pantech pursuit’s blue for her and green for me.  Our favorite color is blue, but twin phones would have gotten confusing lol.  The last time I had a cell phone, they didn’t have the cool slide outs, texting wasn’t the big thing and there weren’t any apps.  It’s been FUN being able to text back and forth between my son who’s away in the Navy and the rest of my family. blog

On July 15, the leak was...

Daily Sketchbook Days 4 & 5

Daily sketchbook day’s 4 and 5.  I did two sketches on Monday to make up for missing Sunday.   Monday my new Sakura Koi 24 color field set arrived.  It’s awesome, I just love the vibrant colors and the aqua pen it came with. Up until now I’ve been using tube watercolor and while even if it dries you can still use it the colors sure aren’t as vibrant as the pan colors.  Now I’m portable, that makes me very happy.  My pallette before was a old tray that deviled eggs came in that I’d painted white lol.  The...
